SHOWERS & EXTRACTORS

I supply and install showers and pumps for bathrooms & ensuites.I normally supply either Triton
or Mira products both known for their quality and excellent aftersales service or I can install any shower provided by the customer.Where you have an existing electric shower I can install a second one in another bathroom or ensuite safely and fully complying with the electrical regulations.

ELECTRIC SHOWERS
Mains fed electric showers receive a cold water supply from the main cold water supply to the home.The shower heats the water but relies on the pressure of the local water supply to provide adequate pressure for showering and therefore it can fluctuate.

A tank fed electric shower recieves a cold water supply directly from the cold water tank in the attic and the shower both heats and pumps the water to the shower.This is by far the most popular domestic shower type in Ireland.

PUMPED SHOWERS
These showers recieve both a hot & cold water supply and pump both to provide a good invigorating shower. The cold supply should come directly from the cold water tank in the attic and the hot from the hot water cylinder in the airing cupboard which has been heated by either the immersion or the central heating.They can be wall mounted with temperature and flow control or located at another location.

EXTRACTORS & VENTS

I supply and install bathroom extractors and also bore vent holes for ventilation in bathrooms and also in other rooms using diamond core drills minimising damage.
